چکیده
This paper presents a location algorithm for series arc fault in low-voltage indoor power line an AC 230 V 50 Hz home network. At both ends of the line, currents and voltages are recorded each generation at different distances. Previously map trace is created by using stored signature coefficients obtained from Kirchhoff equations which allow virtual decoupling line’s mutual capacitance. Then, calculation done considering hypothetical distances where can appear. procedure allows to obtain curve with linear trend. Finally unknown distance estimated intersection this trace. In process validation estimations, many Data (real data) that belong carbonized paths or opening contacts (using copper electrodes) inserted line. Also, performance validated lengths inductive loads. Locating faults be very helpful health monitoring systems order efficiently locate position damaged cables avoid electrical fires save time restoration supply.

Series Arc Fault Detection Algorithm Based on Autoregressive Bispectrum Analysis
Arc fault is one of the most critical reasons for electrical fires. Due to the diversity, randomness and concealment of arc faults in low-voltage circuits, it is difficult for general methods to protect all loads from series arc faults. From the analysis of many series arc faults, a large number of high frequency signals generated in circuits are found. These signals are easily affected by Gaus...

In modeling and location analysis, most traditional fault location methods do not consider about the existence of practical nonlinear model in distribution network, such as the nonlinearity of load and grounding resistor. Hence, the adopted model can’t express the practical network, and the location results will lose practical meaning. Aiming at solving the question above, this paper proposes a...
متن کاملCross Entropy-Based High-Impedance Fault Detection Algorithm for Distribution Networks
The low fault current of high-impedance faults (HIFs) is one of the main challenges for the protection of distribution networks. The inability of conventional overcurrent relays in detecting these faults results in electric arc continuity that it causes the fire hazard and electric shock and poses a serious threat to human life and network equipment. This paper presents an HIF detection algori...

This paper investigates and compares the effects of dynamic fault impendence variation on the accuracy of estimating location of faults on series compensated transmission lines, using a novel fault location algorithm based on the measurement of instantaneous signals, derived from both ends of high voltage transmission lines. In order to estimate fault location accurately, it is necessary to com...
